Reston Station's Grand Stairs Have Been Shut Down
From now until the end of September, crews will be installing new tiles and overhauling the drainage system.

RESTON, VA — The Grand Stairs at Reston Station will be shut down through the end of September for repairs, according to Fairfax County.
Effective July 25 until Sept. 30 (although the county notes that dates are approximate), the stairs will be closed for repairs including new tiles on the landings and improvements to the drainage system, according to an advisory.
In order to access the Wiehle Metro Plaza from Reston Station Boulevard, customers will need the elevator meant for disabled patrons, which is located next to the stairs.
