Reston Teen Leads Police On High-Speed Chase: Police

ASHBURN, VA — A Reston man driving a stolen SUV led police on a hazardous high-speed chase Sunday night on Loudoun County Parkway before finally being arrested after he stopped and fled on foot, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Alexander E. Fisher, 18, of Reston, was charged with auto theft, felony eluding police, destruction of property, reckless driving and driving without a license. He's being held without bond.

Around 8 p.m., a deputy nearly crashed when a speeding black SUV ran a stop sign. He hit the lights and began a pursuit, during which Fisher ran several more stop signs and red lights before hitting a parked vehicle on Olympia Drive.

The SUV then turned onto Regal Wood Drive, bailed and fled on foot in the area of Regal Wood Drive and Vickery Park Drive. Soon thereafter, he was found in a nearby area.
