Reston Town Center Merchants Offer Free Parking Specials
Boston Properties' decision to end paid parking in the evenings and offer a free hour on weekdays has prompted celebrations from merchants.
RESTON, VA — A few Reston Town Center merchants are celebrating the end of paid parking (at least in the evenings and for one hour during the weekdays), and they're trying to woo back customers with some interesting specials.
PassionFish is hosting a "Parking Repeal Party" in the bar and lounge, with an extended Happy Hour from 3 until 9 p.m. on Monday, and $5 specials.
Meanwhile, Mon Ami Gabi is offering a "Free Parking Prix-Fixe Special" all week long from June 5-9, running from 5 until 11 p.m.

"To celebrate the return of free parking, we're having a prix-fixe dinner celebration with summertime French favorites for $35 (plus tax, gratuity not included)," the restaurant said on its Facebook page.
Potomac River Running Store, while not offering a special, also celebrated the end of paid parking in the evenings.
