Reston Yoga Studio Offers 'Post Election Trauma Recovery' for Area Voters
The fiercely fought campaign between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump came to a head on Tuesday, and a yoga studio is offering healing.

RESTON, VA — Considering Reston voted for Hillary Clinton to the tune of 66.5 to 25.8 percent, a lot of people in the region have headaches after Donald Trump's upset victory Tuesday night. Now, a local yoga studio is offering a "Post Election Trauma Recovery" session this upcoming Sunday.
Beloved Yoga, a yoga studio located at 12001 Sunrise Valley Road, is hosting "Let's Exhale: Post Election Trauma Recovery" with Maryam Ovissi, Sanderijn Batalaan and Heather Hagaman on Sunday, Nov. 13 from 1 until 4 p.m.
"BelovedYoga recognizes that we have been traveling together through the Presidential elections, no matter the candidate you choose there is a collective and an ecological impact on all of us," the studio said in a statement. "As a nation, we have just endured one of the most traumatic Presidential elections. Almost every group has felt the impact, from immigrants to women, from the poor to the rich. This election has placed pressure on vulnerable aspects of our society."

The statement adds that yoga "offers individuals tools to regain one's peace and clarity."
