Reston Zoo Welcomes Animal Encounters For 'Be Kind To Animals Month'
Reston's Roer's Zoofari is welcoming visitors to the zoo to participate in animal encounters as part of "Be Kind to Animals Month" in May.

RESTON, VA — Reston’s Roer’s Zoofari is welcoming visitors to the zoo to participate in animal encounters with red river hogs, cheetahs and goats as part of "Be Kind to Animals Month" in May.
All visitors who take part in an animal encounter at Roer’s Zoofari in May will be entered in a raffle to win a season pass to the zoo.
Encounters include a one-on-one session with animal keepers to observe how they care for the animals, as well as opportunities for visitors to feed the red river hogs and goats.

As part of the encounter experience, visitors will also learn about the importance of cheetah conservation due to their status as an endangered species.
Visit the Roer's Zoofari website to purchase tickets. The zoo is located at 1228 Hunter Mill Rd.
