Reston's Cafesano Restaurant is Expanding Big Time

RESTON, VA — Cafesano has been a popular fixture at the South Lakes Village Shopping Center on Lake Thoreau in Reston, and now the restaurant's ownership feels it's time to expand.

Ownership has officially opened a second location for Cafesano at Dulles Town Center in nearby Sterling. Gino Maza, general manager of the restaurant, said in a statement that many customers to the Reston restaurant work in that area but live in the Dulles corridor, and so they are now hoping to serve both markets.

The Dulles Town Center location will have a similar dining environment to the Cafesano in Reston. It will also have a large covered patio, lounge seating and two large fire pits.

Cafesano is a quick-casual dining concept that focuses on "light, flavorful and health selections," the statement reads.

"The menu is based on the Mediterranean diet, considered by many to be the healthiest diet in the world, and includes selections with lots of fresh vegetables, select meats and dairy products, homemade dressings and fresh Mediterranean herbs and spices," the statement adds. "Menu categories include appetizers, salads, Paninis, wraps, brick-oven pizzas, kabobs and pasta. Guests can choose dine-in or take-out service and catering is also available for local area businesses and residents."
