Reston's Huge Oktoberfest Celebration Kicks Off This Weekend [VIDEO]
Get your tickets now, it's sure to be one of the biggest events of the year.
RESTON, VA — Get ready to party, Reston locals. A big Oktoberfest celebration is planned for Oct. 8 in Reston Town Center, and it will last all day long.
The Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce is hosting Oktoberfest Reston, a full day of beer, food, music and family activities -- right in the heart of RTC.
The event features "Oktoberfest themed entertainment throughout the day with traditional authentic Oktoberfest music and dancing, fall beers, and family activities," the website states. "Held at the beautiful Reston Town Center the event will also be featuring food vendors, some serving traditional Oktoberfest fare from area restaurants."

In addition, there will be a Reston Pumpkin 5K on Sunday, Oct. 9 with an 8:15 a.m., and a Kids' Pumpkin Dash at the same time.
"Participants are encouraged to debut their Halloween costumes or dress in their Oktoberfest Lederhosen and join in the fun with the whole family!" the site states.
