Reston's Lake Anne Plaza Hosting a 'Polar Dip' This Saturday that Won't Be Very Polar
Temperatures are supposed to push 60 degrees on a day when a bunch of people take the plunge for charity.

RESTON, VA — The temperatures have been anything but "polar" lately, but that won't stop Reston's 10th annual "Polar Dip" from happening at Lake Anne this Saturday.
The weather forecast calls for highs near 60 under mostly cloudy skies on Feb. 11, just in time for the annual "Freezin' for a Reason Virginia Polar Dip."
People will don costumes and jump into the still quite chilly Lake Anne to raise money for children battling life-threatening illness to go to Camp Sunshine. It all starts at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday with music by Danny DJ and some family friendly activities, with the Dip starting at 2 p.m.
