Reston's Vinifera Wine Bar Appoints New Executive Chef, Sous Chef
The chic Mediterranean bistro has named experienced chef Richard Falbo to helm the kitchen.
Vinifera Wine Bar & Bistro has put together an all-new culinary team, and the Mediterranean restaurant is inviting Reston locals to give them a try.
Vinifera has appointed Richard Falbo as the restaurant's new executive chef and Landon Barnes as its new sous chef, according to a statement from the restaurant.
Falbo has more than 20 years of experience, and spent some of his early career studying in Italy, eventually graduating from the New England Culinary Institute.

Barnes has spent time working at restaurants in the Washington, D.C. and Virginia region.
Vinifera is located in the Westin Reston Heights at 11750 Sunrise Valley Drive. The restaurant has a wine bar and an outdoor area for entertaining or al fresco dining.

The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with wine bar service from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. daily.
