Reston's Water Mine Park to Open This Weekend [VIDEO]
The Water Mine Family Swimmin' Hole at Lake Fairfax Park will open Saturday, May 28.
It's officially summer in Reston.
The Water Mine Family Swimmin' Hole at Lake Fairfax Park is set to open on May 28 for the Memorial Day weekend, Fairfax County announced in a statement.
Visitors will be able to experience a new $5.5 million expansion that opened late last summer, and the park features fun for the whole family, ranging from toddlers up to adults.

This summer, the park will have private family cabanas and awnings that can be reserved.
There's also spray pads, climbable play structures, a slide tower for three body flume slides, an interactive water playground and "Rattlesnake River," a 725-foot river you can lazily float down.

The maximum price is $15.95 for anyone over 4 feet tall on weekends and holidays. The minimum is just $9 after 5 p.m. on weekdays, except holidays. Infants 2 years old and younger get in free. There are also group rates and season passes available.
The park will be closed most weekdays until late June, when it fully opens seven days a week.
