Join us for a workshop that presents a new perspective on the core deficit of autism - weakness in contextual thinking. Learn how context plays a central role in how we experience the world with others, and how targeting this a weakness in contextual thinking through early intervention can have a big and lasting impact.
Our speakers for this class will be Family Compass’ Mr. Joshua Metz, LCSW and Dr. Moshe Shtuhl, Ph.D. Mr. Metz is a family therapist and Director of the Neurodevelopmental Center for Early Intervention, an early intervention program for families of toddlers and preschoolers with autism spectrum and related disorders.
Dr. Shtuhl is the Founder and Director of Family Compass since 1996. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Clinical Psychology at George Washington University doctoral program.
