Roads Closed In Reston Area: Police

RESTON, VA -- The rain is pouring in the Reston area, and we're likely to get a lot more before the system moves out by Wednesday. As a result, we have some road closures in our area.

The Fairfax County Police Department says that they have closed several roads in the area due to either trees being down or water in the roadway.

The complete list is below:

• Sunrise Valley Drive at South Lakes Drive – Tree Down (Reston)
• Aidan Run Court at Georgetown Pike – Water in the roadway (Great Falls)
• Hunter Mill Road at Hunter View Road – Water in the roadway (Vienna)
• Hunter Mill Road at Hunter Station Road – Water in the roadway (Vienna)
• Lawyers Road at Hunter Mill Road – Water in the roadway (Vienna)
• Fox Mill Road at Bennett Road – Water in the roadway (Herndon)
