Robert Duvall, Bob Woodward Headline Star-Studded Reston/Arlington Film Festival This Week

The festival kicks off Wednesday night in Arlington and Thursday night in Reston Town Center.

The Washington West Film Festival kicks off its 6th annual event this Wednesday night in Arlington -- although most of the films will be shown in Reston -- and there will be some major star power at this event.

Robert Duvall is the big headliner. The legendary film star from The Godfather, The Apostle, Apocalypse Now and too many other movies to include here will be at Reston Town Center at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22 to "share multiple on-screen scenes from his career and answer audience questions after each," the festival's site states.

After that, Duvall will be at a "red carpet" event at 4:30 p.m. immediately following the program outside Bow Tie Cinemas in RTC. The event is free to the public and will also feature an appearance by Bob Woodward, the legendary Washington Post reporter who broke the Watergate scandal that brought down President Richard Nixon. Woodward was portrayed by Robert Redford in the film "All the President's Men."
