Search for Suspect in Local Robbery Continues

The robbery occurred Monday evening. The victim described the suspect as a white male in his 20s with dreadlocks.

Fairfax County Police responded to a robbery in Reston on Monday evening, and are still searching for the suspect.

A Reston resident was walking along the 2300 block of Soapstone Drive at approximately 10:50 p.m. when a man approached the victim. The man took property from the victim by force and then fled the scene.

The victim did not require medical attention, and described the suspect as a while male in his early 20s with dreadlocks who was wearing dark clothing at the time of the incident.

The case remains under investigation.

Police also reported Thursday that cash was stolen from a residence on the 12000 block of Greywing Square.
