DC To Fix Potholes In 48 Hours During Potholepalooza
DC Mayor Muriel Bowser on Monday kicked off the District's Potholepalooza — the annual spring season campaign created to speed up pothole repairs throughout DC. The campaign ensures that DDOT officials will "aggressively repair" damaged roadways across the city, with service requests answered within 48 hours.

Archaeologists Uncover Details on 18th Century Ship
The City of Alexandria shared new details about the 50-foot 18th century ship uncovered in late 2015 on Union Street near the waterfront. Scientists determined the ship was built with trees from Boston chopped down after 1741, while the oldest tree rings date back to 1603, four years before English settlers arrived at Jamestown.

Man Bites Cop’s Hand in Woodbridge: Police
A man being transported from Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center to an area facility for a mental health evaluation bit and seriously injured a transporting officer early last month and was arrested last Friday, according to Prince William County Police.
A man rammed his vehicle into a pedestrian acquaintance early last Friday morning, got out of the vehicle, chased the victim and assaulted him near the 18700 block of Fuller Heights Road, according to Prince William County.
