Surveillance Video Shows Man Shooting At Building In Shadowood Condominiums In Reston

While investigating reports of gunshots being heard, police find cartridges and damage to a building in the Shadowood Condominium complex.

RESTON, VA — Officers from the Reston Station of the Fairfax County Police Department are investigating a shooting incident that occurred late Tuesday night in the Shadowood Condominium complex, according to the weekly crime report.

Police responded around 11:17 p.m. to the 2200 block of Castle Rock Square after members of the community reported hearing gunshots. Searching the area, officers discovered damage to a buildings and numerous cartridge cases.

Video of a man walking toward the building, firing multiple rounds, and then walking away was captured by a surveillance camera.

No injuries were reported, according to police.
