Shots Fired In Reston, Man At Large: Police

Residents heard multiple gunshots on a recent night and police found damage from bullets throughout a condominium complex.

RESTON, VA — Police are searching for a man who fired a gun at multiple dwellings in a condominium complex just off Wiehle Avenue Monday evening.

Police were called to the 11200 block of Chestnut Grove Square -- the address of Chestnut Grove Condominiums -- at around 10:45 p.m. on July 3 to a report of gunshots, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.

"Residents heard the sound of gunshots and one person looked out the window to see a male walking past the building," the report states. "One bullet went through a window."

After further investigation, police discovered that another home's glass door had been hit with a bullet.

No one was injured, and police are investigating, according to the report.
