Skies Clear for Another Sunny Weekend in Reston

The recent storms that plagued Reston have passed through the area once and for all, leaving behind nothing but clear skies and sunshine for another August weekend.

Temperatures are expected to remain in the mid-80’s this weekend, and the National Weather Service forecast says there is no chance of rain in the coming days.

This would mark the third straight weekend this month to escape the rain, giving Northern Virginians plenty of opportunities to make the most of the summer before it is gone and replaced with a new school year and a new football season.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 86. North wind 9 to 11 mph.

Friday night: Clear, with a low around 61. Northwest wind around 7 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 84. North wind 6 to 8 mph.

Saturday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 64. Northeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. Calm wind.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 70.
