Send Patch Snow Photos From Around Reston For Its Winter Storm Gallery
Share your snow photos from the Reston area for Patch's winter storm gallery.

RESTON, VA — Monday was supposed to be the day when everyone returned to work or school following the New Year's holiday, but Mother Nature had a different plan for Reston residents.
A cold front passing through the Washington, D.C. region during morning rush hour on Monday delivered colder temperatures, sleet and snow, with the area expecting 3-7 inches of snow on the ground before it's all over.
As a result, not only did Fairfax County Public Schools cancel classes Monday, federal offices in the Washington, D.C. area and Fairfax County were closed too. This resulted in many county services and meetings being canceled or rescheduled.
