Storms Cause Ground Stops, Ground Delays At DMV Airports
Dulles Airport is under a ground stop due to thunderstorms affecting travel from New York to Virginia.
RESTON, VA – A ground stop has been issued for Washington Dulles International Airport due to thunderstorms in the area.
Washington's Reagan National Airport is under a ground delay program, also due to weather. Arriving flights are being delayed by about half an hour.
Ground delays are in place at Philadelphia International Airport and New York’s JFK Airport, also due to weather conditions. Flights into those airports are reported as delayed by nearly 2 hours.
