Stress and Your Bones

Stress has both a healthy and unhealthy impact on your bones. Here are some simple ways to improve the health of your bones.

Your body reacts to every single thought your mind can create. Each negative thought creates nerve flow patterns that result in unhealthy hormone changes that can cause illness and disease .

Each positive thought also changes your nerve flow and hormone balance but these hormones help repair and restore your body. Your bones react either positively or negatively to all of these hormone changes with modifications to bone density, strength and fracture resilience.

Health-based, targeted exercise is the best medicine for the strength and quality of your bones. Not just general exercises that you find at a health club or training studio. Sara Meeks, PT has created an excellent exercise series that we teach in our Posture Perfect! classes in Reston, Herndon and Arlington.
