Suspect Arrested In Robbery Of 66-Year-Old Woman In Reston: Police
Fairfax County Police arrested a suspect in connection with the robbery of a 66-year-old woman in Reston.

RESTON, VA — Fairfax County Police arrested 38-year-old Jasmine Freeman, who also identifies as Kelly Freeman, in connection with the robbery of a 66-year-old woman Monday night in Reston. Police charged Freeman as James David Freeman.
Officers responded around 8:20 p.m., on Monday to the 11000 block of North Shore Drive in Reston for the report of a robbery. The victim told police she was on a Metro Bus near the Hunter Woods shopping center, when she struck up a conversation with the suspect.
Exiting the bus, the victim sat on a bench and the suspect sat down next to her, according to police. When the suspect took the victim's wallet, a struggle ensued and the suspect ran off. The victim was uninjured.

After identifying Freeman as the suspect in the case, police arrested her without incident and charged her with robbery. She was then taken to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where she is being held without bond.
