Teen Found Hiding in Reston Homeowner's Closet at 3 AM
A homeowner awoke to suspicious noises in his home early Wednesday morning, and responding police discovered a hiding teenager.
RESTON, VA — Police have arrested a 17-year-old who was discovered hiding in a closet in a home near Lake Anne in Reston early Wednesday morning.
Police were called to the 1700 block of Beaver Circle at around 3 a.m. Wednesday after a homeowner awoke to "suspicious noises in his house," according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
"Officers responded and located a 17-year-old juvenile hiding in a closet," the report states. "The suspect was arrested and taken to the Reston District Station to be interviewed by detectives."
