Teen With Gun Arrested In Herndon Robbery: Police Report
Fairfax County Police arrested a teenager in connection with an armed robbery Thursday night in the Herndon area of the county.
RESTON, VA — Fairfax County Police Department officers from the Reston District Station are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Thursday night in the Herndonarea of the county, according to the daily crime report.
The victim was walking Thursday, Feb. 27, around 10:50 p.m. near the intersection of Parcher Avenue and Springer Drive when he was assaulted by two men. One of the suspects waved a handgun and stole the victim's cellphone.
Police described the suspect without the handgun as a black man wearing dark clothing. Police identified the second suspect, the one with the handgun, as a teenage boy, whom they arrested and charged with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and preventing a 911 call.
