The #1 Fitness Approach that Never Works

In the world we live in now, it’s so easy to get pulled into different weight loss and fitness programs. It’s also easy to choose the wrong ones for our bodies or get lost in the sea of unrealistic promises and “too good to be true” before and after photos. 

The problem with all of these ads for weight loss vitamins or plans that claim to give you a perfect body is that we are all built very differently – both inside and out! The one Fitness approach that never works is assuming that one size fit’s all.  Our bodies react to everything differently. One person may be fine in the spring while another suffers terrible allergies. 

Some people eat whatever they want without issue while others are lactose intolerant. And one person may add a few minutes of cardio to their routine and watch the pounds fly off while someone else does an hour of cardio every day and sees no real difference.

One of our Storm Fitness clients Chrissy recently relayed her story to me about her own fitness troubles after having her first child.  She thought she was going to go to a Zumba class to instantly get her pre-pregnancy body back. When that failed, she dramatically changed her diet. She still wasn't seeing the results she wanted so she did some high intensity interval training and STILL wasn't seeing major results....
