Positive: "The pizza came out quickly, piping hot and covered with toppings. With the option of many finishing sauces to choose from, I was in heaven. I also feel compelled to note that the parmesan, crushed red pepper and oregano shakers were all wiped down and clean as well. Very rare indeed." - Glenn N.

Negative: "Pizza is nothing to write home about, nor is it bad. What gets me is the pizza oven...you cant bake the pizza long enough to get a good crust...if you want a good crust, its going to burn and the toppings will burn too. So, you're left with somewhat soggy pizza with slightly under-cooked cheese and toppings that are kind of cooked, but not." - Cory L.

2. Pizza Boli's - 4 stars, 23 reviews - 1675 Reston Parkway Ste M

Pizza Boli's is a chain that can be found all over the D.C. area, including Northern Virginia.

User reviews:

Positive: "The staff of efficient and friendly and, as stated, the pizza is pretty darn good- particularly for northern Virginia. My wife loves the vegetable pizza and I have enjoyed a few different types." - Chris S.

Negative: "I ordered delivery from this place. I ordered the chicken Alfredo pizza. It came as soggy undercooked and messy. Cheese all over. Can't believe they can screw up such a simple pizza. Also the garlic sauce was nothing but oil. The pizza was downright bland. Would have got a better pizza from pizza hut at half the price." - Naved R.

3. Ledo Pizza - 3.5 stars, 89 reviews - 2254 Hunters Wood Plaza

Ledo Pizza is another regional chain with locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern U.S. It is headquartered in Annapolis, Md. There are now more than 100 restaurants in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia, South Carolina, and Florida.

User reviews:

Positive: "Honestly my favorite pizza sauce ever. It's sweet, flavorful and VERY addicting. I'm also a huge fan of the thin crispy crust. I've only ever ordered take out and never had a problem with the order or staff. 10/10 would recommend." - Paulina P.

Negative: "Wouldn't recommend. There were only two other customers in the restaurant when we arrived, so the poor service was not a capacity issue. Got two parts of our order wrong and then we were charged for an extra entree. Pizza was lackluster. Other food was just ok. I came here to try the gluten free pizza which was advertised as being good. Wasn't great. Won't be coming back." - Tiffany B.

4. Flippin' Pizza - 3.5 stars, 145 reviews - 11130 S Lakes Dr.

Flippin' Pizza is a New York-style pizza chain headquartered in California. This particular location can be found on the east side of Lake Thoreau.

User reviews:

Positive: "This is my go-to pizzeria in the area when I'm craving pizza that reminds me of home. I grew up on Long Island where everyone had their own neighborhood pizzeria joint and are fiercely loyal to that joint and the whole concept that is NY pizza." - Yaka H.

Negative: "Super meh. I stopped in here as I just moved to that side of Reston and like to try any local pizza spots. They have "by the slice" along with a regular menu and pizzas made to order. Cost wasn't bad, and the pizza wasn't TERRIBLE just super average. Reheated, bland, greasy, and very thin." - John W.

5. Paisano's Pizza - 3.5 stars, 74 reviews - 12050 North Shore Drive

Another regional chain, Paisano's has locations in Northern Virginia, D.C., and Maryland. This particular location can be found on North Shore Drive near the intersection with Wiehle Avenue.

User reviews:

Positive: "Simply the best pizza in the Reston area. I've been a customer for several years. Outstanding customer service, great food. I highly recommend you give them a try." - Thomas O.

Negative: "Sadly I think our search for pizza delivery is still on. We ordered two pizzas and a salad and the cost was a bit more than expected. We did customize both pizzas by by adding a few items. The bill came to $45 - again maybe a little steep but in the end if the food is good and as ordered then it's worth the trouble.' - Chris S.
