Virtual Reality Experience Illustrates the Dangers of Smartphone Distracted Driving

As part of a nationwide tour to remind drivers to keep their eyes on the road, not on their phones, AT&T’s 2017 IT CAN WAIT tour will stop at the Dulles Retail Plaza AT&T Store on Saturday, August 5. This stop is among 300 taking place nationwide this year.
The company’s unique virtual reality experience will be on site from 12-4 p.m, allowing individuals to safely experience what can happen when they take their eyes off the road to look at their phones. AT&T uses events like this to help drive home the dangers of using a smartphone while driving.
