Two Famous Authors visit Lake Anne ES

Lake Anne ES students, staff and parents were treated on Wednesday to Authors Kwame Alexander and Kate Samworth’s visit to the school. Mr. Alexander spoke about his recent Newbery Award for his newest book “The Crossover” and how no matter how many times you are told no, keep on trying, and don’t give up your dream. In addition we were lucky enough to have Kate Samworth as well to speak about her book “Aviary Wonders, Inc.” Lake Anne would like to thank both Mr. Alexander and Ms. Samworth for their visit!
