There are some fun and free kids activities coming up in Herndon and Reston this September!
Herndon Parks and Rec is hosting a Cupcake Bike Ride through Herndon on September 2. It's a fun way to go on a bike ride with your kids through Herndon and taste yummy treats from local cupcake shops! A local artist is drawing with kids at the Chalkfest Workshop on September 9 at Reston Town Center.
Have a picnic with your favorite stuffed friend at Sterling Library's Teddy Bear Picnic on September 9. Meet Curious George and read some books at the Curious George Party on September 16. Your budding veterinarian can practice her skills at the Mini Vet School at VCA Herndon-Reston Animal Hospital on September 17 (just be sure to register by September 5).
Bring the whole family to a free festival in Reston and Herndon. There's the Reston Multicultural Festival on September 23 and NatureFest at Runnymede park on September 27.
