Weekend Weather: Goodbye, Snow Boots. Hello, Galoshes.

Spring isn’t technically here (and we might drop just a bit below freezing early next week), but this weekend’s forecast has spring written all over it.

Here’s the forecast for the region, according to the National Weather Service:

There’s a chance of rain Friday evening for the commute home, with a high Friday near 51.

A 100 percent chance of rain after 7 p.m. Friday, but temperatures will stay in the 40s.

Rain continues through Saturday, with a chance of showers Saturday night, lingering until midnight.

The forecast for Sunday is partly sunny and 54 degrees. The cool air moves in Sunday night, with a low around 33 degrees.
