We Asked: What Business Do You Wish Existed in Reston?

We got plenty of responses, and Reston was hungry!

Most of our readers asked for food. User Mary Ann Ritter Youn perfectly summed up Reston’s response when she asserted “Wegmans!!” However, she was not the lone Wegmans advocate, with users Kelley Logdon Relyea, and Margot T Lovell also showing their support.

Other responses included:

• A book store
• Lululemon
• A local diner (with user Mary Rock specifically stating “ a diner, not a chain restaurant, that makes everything from scratch and the waitresses call you hon.”)
• An independent coffee shop
• Shake Shack
• Home Goods

Additionally, user Susan Abercrombie contributed a comical response to our poll saying, “Reston needs 1) a brothel, and 2) a cemetery: Reston Piece and Reston Peace. (Thanks - I’ll be here all week.)”
