Top 10 Baby Names in Virginia
The Social Security Administration recently released data regarding the most popular baby names in each state in 2014.

The numbers are in, the letters are arranged and the official list of Virginia’s most popular baby names of 2014 is out.
The Social Security Administration released the 2014 results on Friday. William was the state’s most popular name, with 590 Williams born in Virginia in 2014. Emma was the most popular girl’s name, with 538 babies taking the name.
For the second year in a row, Noah was the nation’s most popular name for a boy, and just like in Virginia Emma was the most popular girl’s name across the entire country.

Lots of organizations release lists of top names, but the Social Security Administration data are based on ”a 100 percent sample of our records on Social Security card applications as of the end of February 2015.”
