With Weekly Exercise, Time Trumps Frequency

Finally, at least one study that supports a concept that I have believed to be true for many years.  You can exercise whenever you have time. You just need to strive for 150 minutes a week.

For most people, the every other day, three times a week exercise model just does not matter. Maybe for serious athletes or body builders but not for the rest of us. 

One cautionary note... If your exercise program is well thought out and based on safe activities then you are fine. If it is based on playing a sport or other high intensity activity then your risk for injury will be high.
