Woman Sexually Assaulted After Being Lured To Job Interview In Reston: Police
Police have arrested a Gainesville man on a sexual battery charge, and believe he may have had other victims.

RESTON, VA -- A registered sex offender is facing a sexual battery charge after he assaulted a woman he lured in for a job interview in Reston, police say.
Police arrested 44-year-old Imtiax Rauf of Gainesville who is accused of placing an ad on Craigslist for the position of administrative assistant at an office at 12005 Sunrise Valley Drive, and then sexually assaulted the person who responded, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
Police are investigating other similar reports, and he may face additional charges as a result, the report states.

Rauf is being held at the Adult Detention Center without bond, and detectives are investigating other ads he allegedly placed. Police ask anyone who may have been a victim to contact Det. T. Horton at 703-246-7800.
"We also ask anyone with information on this case or other incidents involving Rauf to call us as well," the report states. "You can call us directly, or submit a tip anonymously through Crime Solvers by visiting www.fairfaxcrimesolvers.org, or text-a-tip by texting “TIP187” plus your message to CRIMES (274637). Anonymous tipsters are eligible for cash rewards of $100 to $1000 if their information leads to an arrest."
