Four children were inside the van when it slammed into Terraset Elementary School on Tuesday.

RESTON, VA — A woman who crashed a van carrying four children into the side of Terraset Elementary School on Tuesday may face charges as a result.
Police say that a 55-year-old woman was driving a Ford van to pick up and transport children to after school care at around 3:52 p.m. on Sept. 6 at Terraset Elementary School when she "lost control of the vehicle and drove down a hill, striking the school building, breaking through a brick wall into a closet," according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
There were four children in the van at the time of the crash. Fortunately, no one in the vehicle or in the school was injured. However, "charges are pending for the driver," the report states.
