• Glenvar High School volunteers build 20 beds for Roanoke Valley children (wsls.com) — Volunteers at Glenvar High School in Salem built 20 beds that will be delivered to children throughout the greater Roanoke Valley through the Sleep in Heavenly Peace Roanoke chapter. The group says it can deliver up to 15 beds every Wednesday and is seeking local volunteers, donations, and new twin bedding to keep helping families whose children currently sleep on floors or couches.
