The first responding crew found a two-story middle-of-the-row townhome with smoke showing. They located and removed the trapped people before more units arrived.

A second alarm was requested, and eventually, the kitchen fire was put out, and the rest of the home was searched and cleared. Both of the home's occupants were taken for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, and no firefighters were injured. Investigators are working to determine the fire's cause.
