VIENNA, VA – Vienna's Oktoberfest will return for the 17th year next month with its biggest festival yet, organizers say.

Vienna Oktoberfest will be held on Oct. 3 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on historic Church Street. Organizers say this year's party will have more vendors, more food, music and entertainment, free activities for kids and of course, local beer and wine selections.

Entertainment will include music and other performers on three stages, plus inflatables and games on the Town green.

In addition to a large selection of food from around the world, there will be a beer and wine garden featuring Caboose Brewing Company, Norm's Beer and Wine, and Vienna Vintner. There will be shopping options at a vendor and artisans market, plus a business expo. Organizers say the event has historically attracted 30,000 to 35,000 attendees.

The event is free and a free shuttle will be provided from the Vienna Metro North and James Madison High School. Organizers also point out that cyclists can park their bikes right off the Washington and Old Dominion Trail and access the festival.

Presented by the Vienna Business Association and the Town of Vienna, proceeds from the festival will benefit the VBA Foundation, which supports charitable organizations in the Greater Vienna area.
