Huge New Fitness Center Planned For Vacant Space At Tysons Galleria: Report

An East Coast fitness chain is expanding its presence in Northern Virginia with a new location at Tysons Galleria.

TYSONS, VA — A 110,000-square-foot fitness and wellness center featuring an indoor saltwater pool, pickleball courts and a recovery and wellness suite is planned for the former Saks Fifth Avenue space at Tysons Galleria.

Onelife Fitness announced Thursday that it plans to open its new flagship location in late 2027 at 2201 International Drive. The company says it will be one of the largest fitness destinations in the Washington, D.C., region.

Plans for Onelife Fitness Tysons Galleria include a 14,000-square-foot strength-training area, boutique fitness studios, Reformer Pilates, Strike Boxing and HYROX training.

The facility also plans a multi-lane swimming pool, a hot tub and cold plunge pool, and a sauna and recovery suite offering red-light therapy and HydroMassage, the company says.

The new Tysons location is part of a broader expansion by Onelife Fitness on the East Coast. In Northern Virginia, the company opened an Ashburn club in July and has another new location planned for the Mosaic District in Fairfax, according to the release.

Founded in 2011, Onelife Fitness has more than 76 locations either operating or under development across eight states and Washington, D.C.
