• Town of Washington floats idea of sewer rate hike (rappnews.com) — Washington residents are being warned they may face higher sewer bills soon, as Mayor Joe Whited says the town's sewer system is still running deeply in the red despite last year's water and sewer rate hike. Final numbers and proposed increases will be brought to Town Council this fall, after earlier backlash from The Inn at Little Washington over past rate changes.
