$1 Million Lottery Ticket Claimed By Dumfries Woman
As she sat inside her vehicle at an automated car wash in Manassas, a Dumfries woman decided to scratch a lottery ticket. When she did. . .

DUMFRIES, VA—Having long since grown out of the thrill that can come with going through an automated car wash, Nicole Mason simply sat in her vehicle recently and decided to scratch a $1 million SERIES lottery ticket.
She never made it through the car wash. "I just drove off," she later told Virginia Lottery officials. That's because when she scratched the ticket, she saw that she had just won enough money to buy several vehicles.
Mason bought the $1 million ticket in Wellington Shell at 10155 Hastings Drive. She chose the one-time cash option of $561,798 before taxes, and the store picked up a $10,000 bonus for selling the winner.
