12-Year-Old Raped After Instagram Hookup In Woodbridge: Police

A man was arrested Tuesday after raping a 12-year-old girl he met on Instagram and took to a residence in Woodbridge: Prince William Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA—A man was arrested Tuesday after raping a 12-year-old girl he met on Instagram and took to a residence in the 14400 block of Belvedere Drive, according to Prince William County Police. Tyquan Bernard Stoney, 20, was charged with two counts of rape, two counts of object sexual penetration, two counts of aggravated sexual battery, two counts of sodomy and two counts of indecent liberties with a minor. He's being held without bond.

Shortly after 6 p.m. Monday, police went to the aforementioned address for the possible retrieval of a missing girl from King George County. When the arrived at the front door, Stoney tried to flee out a back door but was quickly caught. Police found the girl inside the residence.

Upon further investigation, detectives with the Special Victims Unit found that after Stoney met the girl on Instagram, he went to her residence Monday, picked her up and brought her to the residence on Belvedere Drive, where the two had an inappropriate relationship.
