14-Year-Old Boy Stabs Teenager In Woodbridge: Police
The 17-year-old victim was transported to an area hospital with significant injuries, according to the Prince William County police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA โ A 14-year-old boy was arrested Monday in connection with the stabbing of a teenage boy in Woodbridge, according to the Prince William County Police Department.
At around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, police officers responded to the intersection of Beechtree Lane and Fern Place in Woodbridge to investigate a stabbing. The victim, a 17-year-old boy, reported to police that he approached an unknown male juvenile, later identified as the accused 14-year-old boy, and engaged in a conversation.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for significant injuries, according to the Prince William County police.

At some point during the encounter, an argument escalated when the boy allegedly struck the 17-year-old. During the encounter, the boy allegedly brandished a knife and stabbed the victim, the police said.
Eventually the parties separated, and the victim contacted the police. While investigating, officers identified the accused as a 14-year-old boy.

On Monday, officers obtained petitions for the suspect, who was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with malicious wounding and is being held at the Prince William County Juvenile Detention Center.
