15-Year-Old Girl Shot In Her Father's Car In Woodbridge: Police
A 15-year-old girl was shot in Woodbridge on Thursday evening after her father argued with a group of men in a parking lot, police said.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — A 15-year-old girl was shot in Woodbridge on Wednesday, according to the Prince William County Police Department. The shooting occurred after an argument in a parking lot.
After 6 p.m. Thursday, a driver flagged down a Prince William County Police officer near Jefferson Davis Highway and Cardinal Drive. The man reported his 15-year-old daughter, who was a passenger in the car, was shot, according to a news release from the Prince William County Police Department.
The girl was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Authorities said her injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Office determined that the shooting occurred in the 16700 block of River Ridge Boulevard. While in a parking lot, the victim's father was engaged in a verbal altercation with a group of men, police said.
As the man and his daughter began to drive away, one of the people in the group shot at the car. Rounds struck the vehicle and the victim. The man drove toward an area hospital before receiving assistance from a police officer.

A police K-9 searched the area, but was not able to locate any suspects. The Prince William County Police Department did not provide a description for the suspect.
