2 Charged In Separate Assaults On PW County Police Officers
Both incidents occurred on Wednesday, landing both suspects in jail, according to police.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA — Two people are facing charges in connection with separate assaults on Prince William County police officers, according to authorities.
The first incident occurred shortly before 12:50 a.m. on Wednesday in the 4600 block of Dale Boulevard in Woodbridge.
According to police, officers were attempting to serve a warrant to 35-year-old Elisha Monique Bailey of Woodbridge when she resisted arrest and kicked an officer. Bailey was eventually detained, and police said she was also found in possession of illicit narcotics.

Bailey was taken to jail and charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer and possession of a controlled substance.
The second incident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. Wednesday during a traffic stop in the area of Webb Drive and Lee Highway in Gainesville.

According to police, the driver, identified as 37-year-old Franklin Danilo Corrales Martinez, became agitated during the stop and attempted to walk away from officers. As officers attempted to detain Corrales Martinez, police said he pushed an officer before he was taken into custody.
No injuries were reported from either incident.
As of Thursday, both Bailey and Corrales Martinez were being held without bond.
