2 Firefighters Hurt, Multiple People Rescued From 3-Alarm Fire In Woodbridge
Several people were rescued, two firefighters were injured and about a dozen families were displaced after a major house fire in Woodbridge.
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA – Two firefighters were hurt and several people had to be rescued from a three-alarm fire in Woodbridge on Saturday.
Crews responding to the 15700 block of Tassia Lane in Woodbridge on Saturday at about 5 p.m. found fire engulfing all three levels of a three-story garden apartment building, the Prince William County firefighters’ union says. Multiple people were trapped on the building’s upper floors and required rescue, and two firefighters were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to WUSA 9, 12 adults and seven children were displaced by the fire. The American Red Cross says it is helping 12 families displaced by the fire.
