2 Men Stabbed Inside Potomac Mills Shopping Center: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA – Two men were stabbed at the Potomac Mills Shopping Center on Thursday night by a suspect who remains at large, Prince William County police say.

According to the Prince William County Police Department, officers responded to Potomac Mills in Woodbridge just before 8 p.m. to investigate reports of a stabbing. They say that a group of men had been gambling in a common area inside the mall when one member of the group stabbed a 49-year-old man and a 32-year-old man in their upper bodies and then fled.

Both men were taken to hospitals for treatment, and their injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Police say the victims became uncooperative with investigators. They preliminarily believe the incident was not random and there’s no threat to the public at large. The suspect is described as a Black man in his 40s with a thin to medium build, wearing a white shirt and carrying a dark-colored cross-body bag and a brown shopping bag.
