2016-2017 Special Events Non-profit Organization Intern

KPWB is looking for special events interns who will work primarily on large scale fundraising events in 2017! Great opportunity to learn!

Keep Prince William Beautiful is a non-profit environmental organization that serves Prince William County through partnering with residents, businesses and government to educate and inspire people to be environmental stewards and Keep Prince William Beautiful.

Our organization is currently searching for Fall 2016 and Spring 2017 special events interns who will work 10-15 hours a week. The intern will work primarily on large-scale fundraising events in 2017 including our Spring Festival Event, Tropical Escape Fundraiser and Silent Auction. This is a great opportunity to learn all about running large events, working with vendors, using social media for promotion and getting experience in the nonprofit sector.

Internships are a minimum of 3 months. School credit is available. Individuals that do not need credit but are interested in the experience are also welcome to apply! Applicants must be at least 18 years of age by start of internship and have reliable transportation to and from work. Applicant must be able to work weekends for events, projects, or programs.
