21-Year-Old Killed In Woodbridge Domestic Shooting, Suspect At Large: Police

WOODBRIDGE, VA –Prince William County police are looking for Thomas Lynwood Brown, 23, of Triangle. He's accused of shooting and killing a family member on Monday night.

According to Prince William County police, officers responded to the Fitzgerald Apartments on the 13400 block of Grayson Hill Circle in Woodbridge at 9:12 p.m. They say they found a 21-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. Police say despite lifesaving efforts, the victim, identified as Ricardo Xavier Haley, 21, of Gainesville, died at the scene.

Police say Haley was involved in an altercation with Brown, which led to the shooting.

Brown is described as a Black man, 6'3", 185 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He is wanted by police and charged with second-degree murder and using a firearm in committing a felony.

A man by the name of Thomas Lynwood Brown, who shares the same birthday as the suspect, appears to have four years of criminal charges in Northern Virginia, including convictions for drug possession, auto theft and assault and battery.
