With national health scandals behind Chipotle, we look at the latest area health inspections of the popular Tex-Mex restaurant chain.

Beset by E. coli and norovirus reports in 2015, Chipotle is trying to rebuild customer trust this year. And that work starts right around the corner, at any one of the dozens of Chipotle locations in the region.

Last week, the popular Tex-Mex chain closed for lunch nationwide for a company-wide conference call on food safety. The company’s executives said they would take extra steps to ensure that Chipotle’s food was safe to eat, including ingredients testing and vegetable blanching.

“We’ve come together today to make sure Chipotle is not just the most delicious place to eat, but also the safest,” the company’s founder, Steve Ells, said on the call, which was partially live-tweeted by the Chipotle Twitter account.

But what about food prep and kitchen safety at your local Chipotle? We reviewed nearly 50 health inspections in the past year, half performed in just the last four months.

The state health department stresses, “It is unrealistic to expect that a complex, full-service food operation can routinely avoid any violations.”

With this in mind, here’s the list of Chipotle locations that had no violations or no critical violations.
